The neutral cut of the three

This design exists in a men's and a women's version, and then in this one, which has no figure on it at all. It is what we send when the display is going to a household rather than a person — two runners in a couple, a family that races together, a club room.

It starts at 45 cm rather than 35, because a shared collection is never a small collection.

The neutral version is the one clubs and households choose, because it does not belong to any one person on the wall.

These are the sizes available. If it is a present and you are guessing, guess upwards — a display that is slightly too big still looks right.

This design is cut from 45 cm upwards. For two runners sharing a display, start at 60. This design is produced from 45 cm upwards — the cut-out detail doesn't hold at smaller widths.

Steel, not sheet metal with paint on it

The whole medal display is one panel of AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick according to width. Cheap racks are thin painted steel and the paint goes first, usually at a corner.

The medals hang from a continuous rail, which is the reason a full display still looks even rather than bunched around fixed points.

Putting it up

The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.

Running out of room

Buy a second and line it up directly beneath or beside this one — the proportions are designed so a pair looks intentional. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
