Armwrestling is one of the few sports where a single competitor can medal four times in one day without anything unusual happening. Both arms, two divisions, and the open on top of it. Nobody plans storage for that.

So the rail is sized for volume rather than ceremony. Cut from 2.5 to 3 mm stainless steel depending on width, with the widest holding up to 110 medals — which for this sport is a realistic number, not a theoretical one.

Federation events award per arm and per class, so duplicates are constant. Hung together they show progression through weight categories, which is the part outsiders never understand about the sport.

Four medals from one competition is routine. This is one of the few sports where the 75 cm size is the sensible starting point, not the ambitious one.

Why stainless steel, not painted sheet metal

The medal hanger is cut from AISI 304 stainless steel (V2A / 1.4301), 2.5-3 mm thick depending on the width. Not painted sheet metal that chips at the first knock.

And it holds a continuous rail, not hooks. Twelve hooks means twelve medals. A rail holds as many as fit.

Putting it up

The standoffs hold it a centimetre off the wall, which is what gives the shadow line. Template, screws and plugs are included; you need a drill and ten minutes.

After the first one is full

They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.
