The safe answer when you do not know the sport

Buying a medal display for somebody whose training you only half understand is harder than it looks. A running phrase lands wrong on a swimmer's wall; a martial arts design is odd above a rowing collection.

Two words that belong to no discipline solve that. It is the one we suggest when the medals come from three different sports, or when the recipient has just switched to a fourth.

Because it names no sport, it also works for collections that are not medals at all — race numbers, lanyards, accreditation passes from events worked rather than run.

Below are the widths this design is cut in. The honest advice for a gift is to size on the drawer, not on the wall.

The steel, and why it matters

Every medal display in the range is AISI 304 — the same grade used for kitchen surfaces and marine fittings — at 2.5-3 mm depending on width. It doesn't rust, doesn't chip, and doesn't need looking after.

The bar is continuous. That's the whole difference from a hook rack: hooks give you a fixed count, a rail gives you a length.

Installation

Supplied with everything needed except a drill: standoffs, fixings and a full-size paper template. The standoffs set it off the wall slightly, which is what makes the shadow underneath.

After the first one is full

They're made to pair. A second unit sits flush against the first and the run reads as a single display. The widest version holds up to 110 medals across three rails.

When it arrives

Each medal hanger is made to order in the EU and leaves within 3–5 working days. Fourteen days to change your mind once it is in your hands.
